Tambores Latinos, the Folkloric Dance Group directed by Choreographer Elbert Lopez from New York City, winners of the trophy awarded for the best folk and cultural show

El Ballet Folklórico Mexicano Yavidaxiu de Nueva York, directed by Choreographer Erik Olea, Infantil & Juvenil performers

Ecuadorian Andean Group Ayazamana, which translated from Kichwa means “Peaceful Rest of the Soul,” artistic director Jose Rivera, from Long Island City, NY

Multicultural Dancers of the Berkshires,
among others local artist

DJ Mickey will provide the sound system.

The Festival will continue with a fundraiser party beginning at 9:30 p.m. at Bogie’s, 935 South Main St., Great Barrington, MA, feature a live Latin band from Providence RI! by Nery Ruilova & Ritmo Sabor y Mas, remarking Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata & Bolero (Music from El Gran Combo, La Sonora Dinamita, El Combo de las Estrellas, Joe Arroyo), DJ Mickey,

Cover charge $20.00 will help meet Festival expenses. ID required! (18 years old to Dance accompanied by a parent.)

La Compañía Artística Cali Salsa Pal Mundo, touring the US and led by director-choreographer and dancer Miguel Angel Reyes, will perform in the Festival Latino of the Berkshires for the second time at audience request. La Compañía Artística practices Cali Colombia-style Salsa, displaying its fast rhythms and quick steps. Cali Salsa Pal Mundo dancers keep their upper body still, poised, and relaxed, while in their footwork execute endless and precise intricacies.

La Compañía Artística Cali Salsa Pal Mundo, are former dancers of the Ballet Nacional de la Salsa de Colombia, who have performed worldwide.

This year 2011 La Compañía Artística Cali Salsa Pal Mundo, will bring the Children Salsa Ballet to show off their fancy moves, Cali's own salsa style - known for its fast-paced foot work.
